Information for everyone with a SozialTicket

The Deutschlandticket sozial lets you can travel throughout Germany at a reduced price of 39 euros per month.

The Deutschlandticket sozial has the same ticket features and benefits as the regular Deutschlandticket.

Info  A valid Bielefeld-Pass or other proof of entitlement is required to order it. The ticket is only valid for as long as the proof of entitlement is valid – the end date is noted when the order is placed. Please submit your new proof by the 10th of the previous month to: our customer centres, at Stiftung Solidarität or by e-mail to abo@mobiel.de

Then you must cancel it directly in our customer centres or online. JobTickets must be cancelled via the JobTicket portal or the employer. Please cancel your regular Deutschlandticket via the moBiel YOU app directly in the app.

The Deutschlandticket sozial at a glance

• Valid in Bielefeld from 1 February 2024
• Subscription that can be cancelled monthly for 39 euros/month
• For anyone with a Bielefeld-Pass or other proof of entitlement
• The proof of entitlement’s validity period must be observed
• Order via our customer centres or the Stiftung Solidarität – by the 22nd of the previous month so that the subscription starts the following month.
  For orders placed after the 22nd of the current month, delivery of the ticket on the first day of the following month cannot be guaranteed. The ticket may arrive by post a few days after the desired start date.
• Payment by direct debit on the 5th working day of the respective month
• The ticket is sent by post as a plastic chip card (e-ticket)
• Valid on all local public transport (2nd class) – like the regular Deutschlandticket
• Also valid on the NachtBus within Bielefeld
• Show a photo ID and  e-ticket during checks
• Cancellation by the 10th of the previous month: online or by e-mail to abo@mobiel.de
• Personal, non-transferable
• No free transportation of persons or bicycles
• Free transportation of dogs in NRW
• Additional benefits only with moBie

You are entitled to order the ticket if you receive 

• Citizen's allowance (Bürgergeld) according to SGB II (unemployment benefit II and social benefit)
• Benefits in accordance with SGB XII for basic security in old age and reduced earning capacity and
• Current assistance for living expenses outside of institutions (»social assistance«),
• Standard benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act or
• Current war victims' welfare benefits or
• Housing benefit in accordance with the Housing Benefit Act (WoGG).

Bi-Pass Ticket

For journeys in Bielefeld only, there is still the Bi-Pass Ticket and the 9 Uhr Bi-Pass Ticket. Both are valid for one month and are available directly from our ticket machines.
